Troy Dawson is currently a senior software engineer working in the productization section of the Red Hat OpenShift project. Prior to working for Red Hat, Troy worked for Fermilab for 18 years where he was one of two lead developers of Scientific Linux and Fermi Linux.
After a brief background of RHEL Clones (history, legal, fun stories), I'll tell how you can build your own, or use someone else's Clone. Most important I'll talk about projects, both huge and small, that can, and do, use RHEL Clones.
